Recreational Climbing Classes for Kids 8-14

The Discover Climbing Club, or DCC, is all about discovering a love and passion for climbing while growing through physical and mental problem solving in a guided environment. 

Who is DCC for? 

Youth climbers aged 8-14 with little or limited climbing experience or kids just getting started with a desire to learn the fundamentals of climbing

Plan to join this club to improve focus on general skills development, problem-solving, and growing physically and mentally through climbing. 

The DCC meets once per week and individuals may be invited to join the ICB competition team and may be invited to join if qualified.

When is DCC scheduled to meet?

The program includes facility access and structured climbing lessons, facilitated by an experienced youth coach, on the days of scheduled DCC lessons.

DCC is scheduled to meet once a week, every Saturday from 12:30PM-2PM (excluding holidays or facility closures).

Each club ‘practice’ will focus on the development of mental, physical, and technical skills through rock climbing.  

How much does it cost to participate?

DCC pricing is $100 per month or $25 per meetup session. 

Enrollment cost includes Discover Climbing Club membership PLUS ICB’s standard monthly student membership package, which includes unlimited day use, access to select programming, and additional membership benefits.

Monthly membership dues are billed on the 1st of each month and are prorated for DCC participants joining mid-month.
